However, summers are incredibly hot and humid, and this is also Atlantic Hurricane Season (which runs June 1-November 30 each year).

April and May tend to be especially brutal, and even local dread these months.

However, these months will have lower price tags, as they’re outside of the high tourist season (November to March), when prices are inflated, and the beaches are crowded.
