Las Hijas de la Tostada is a Mexico chain, but a really good one, with locations in Mexico City, Playa del Carmen and Tulum. In fact, I first discovered them when I was living in Playa del Carmen, so I was happy to see them again in Tulum.

My top pick here is the tuna carnitas tostada, but I have tried several and enjoyed them all. These gourmet tostadas cost about $5-7 USD each, which is a fair price because the food is good quality and the portions are big enough to satisfy.

Las Hijas de la Tostada is located right on the main road in Tulum Town, so it’s easy to find.
